The Office of Catechesis exists to encourage and support pastors and parish leadership in the Church's mission of evangelization and catechesis. It does this by:
- promoting lifelong formation leading to discipleship in Jesus Christ;
- offering formation opportunities for catechists and catechetical leaders;
- modeling excellent catechesis and leadership in ministry;
- supporting the New Evangelization in the life of the Church.
